The Bharatiya Janata Party has released the names of 58 candidates through its two lists for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. In the first list hey fielded former MP Ramesh Bidhuri from Kalkaji against Aam Aadmi Party candidate and Delhi CM Atishi is contesting. On the other hand AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal will fight the race against BJP's Parvesh Verma from the New Delhi seat.queen9play
The second list contained names like ex-AAP leader Kapil Mishra who has now identified with hardline Hindutva politics, from Karawal Nagar seat and the third was released with just one candidate.
The BJP has fielded its national office-bearers Dushyant Kumar Gautam and Ashish Sood from Karol Bagh and Janakpuri, respectively, Arvinder Singh Lovely from Gandhi Nagar and former AAP leader Kailash Gahlot from Bijwasan. Meanhwile, Former Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay will contest from Malviya Nagar.
After the list was released, Bidhuri spoke to ANI and expressing his confidence he said, "I thank the BJP leadership for showing trust in me to reclaim the Kalkaji assembly seat. Delhi is suffering because of Arvind Kejriwal. The people of Kalkaji have also faced 'aapda' under CM Atishi..."
