fb777 ICYMI: These artists are coming to Waterbomb Manila

Thirty of the hottest names in K-pop and K-hip-hop are heading to the Manila debut of Korea’s biggest annual summer music festival

We’re a month away from the first ever Waterbomb festival in Manila! News of this much-anticipated music festival from South Korea first made the rounds last year, but now that we’re a month away, we already have most of the lineup. And boy does it look exciting!

Manila is one of three stops the Waterbomb festival will be making outside Korea this year. The festival runs on Feb. 22 and 23 at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila. Guest artists are divided into teams—yellow and blue for the Manila leg of the festival. Like Korea’s own Waterbomb, audiences can expect the best K-pop, hip-hop, and EDM hits performed live, along with various water-based activities (yes, water gun fights!).

While February may be a little too early for a summer splash, Waterbomb’s featured K-pop and K-hip-hop artists are set to heat things up in Manila. We can expect iconic hip-hop trio Epik High, EXO rapper Chanyeol, and Mamamoo’s Hwasa among the artists opening the festival. Meanwhile, 2000s icon Hyolyn, Waterbomb regular Jessi, and GOT7’s Bambam are slated for the festival’s last day. K-pop 4th generation girl groups Stayc and Viviz will also be performing at the festival.

Here’s the latest list of artists performing at Waterbomb—four have yet to be revealed, which will increase the artist lineup to a total of 30 performers.
